Introduction

The W4MQ Remote Base  is located in Reston, VA (near Washington DC). It consists of a Kenwood TS2000  transceiver, an Icom PW-1 amplifier, and an 80 loop antenna at 50 feet. The system is Push To Talk controlled for SSB and QSK for CW providing input and output, audio and functional control over the Internet. User setup must include an IBM compatible PC with a soundcard operating under Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP, the Web Transceiver control program, a headset and microphone connected to your computer and your computer keyboard.
